Directions from Munich

From Munich, travel via Kufstein (Inntal motorway A12) towards Innsbruck, then continue on the motorway in the direction of Bregenz until you reach the Ötztal exit. From there, drive along the Ötztal main road until you arrive in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Please don't forget to buy the motorway vignette if necessary.

Directions from Ulm/Kempten

When coming from Ulm/Kempten, use the federal road (no vignette required) towards Füssen and Reutte, then over the Fernpass to Imst (federal road) and continue on the B171 into the Ötztal all the way to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

If you decide to utilise the short stretch of the Inntal motorway A12 between Imst and Ötztal Bahnhof, kindly ensure you purchase a vignette at a petrol station in Imst beforehand. Failure to do so may result in hefty fines.

By train, you can reach via Innsbruck or directly from Switzerland to the Ötztal train station, from there a bus will take you into the Ötztal and up to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Alternatively, you can travel by train to Innsbruck and then catch a bus into the Ötztal, continuing on to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. We'd be delighted to pick you up from the "Hotel Mühle" stop in Obergurgl, subject to availability. Please do let us know in advance.

From international airports in Innsbruck, Munich, Zurich, or Salzburg, you can easily reach Obergurgl-Hochgurgl by bus and train.
